0 Alzheimer Awareness Month

November is Alzheimer Awareness Month. It’s estimated that over 4.5 Americans suffer from this disease. We don’t know the cause and haven’t developed a cure yet. Awareness is helpful as well as the numerous efforts underway to study this deadly disease.

Teresa and I are longtime supporters of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which is the world’s largest volunteer-driven fundraising effort for childhood cancer research, I have had the opportunity to be around hundreds of young cancer patients and I’ve seen firsthand the courage they show every day.

0 Dancing With The Stars

Recently Teresa and I had one of the nights of our lives. My wife’s a great dancer and we are both big fans of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Last week we got to the see the show live in studio. Sat right next to Judge Bruno Tonioli. It was a tremendous evening, something we’ll never forget.

0 David Disiere and the I Have a Dream Foundation

I just posted a new video that I wanted to share with you. From time to time I have the opportunity — privilege really — to go and address kids in the I Have A Dream (IHAD) right here in Dallas. Recently I attended one such event. IHAD is instrumental in teaching kids that they can reach their hopes and dreams but to do that they have a role to play and responsibilities to get there. Take a minute to check out the latest IHAD school program I was able to address. Thanks
