0 The Red Kettle

For many of us Christmas time means family and friends.  And just as many are reminded of the holidays when the "red kettle" starts showing up outside of stores, malls and shopping centers.  The Salvation Army is synonymous with Christmas giving.  Those volunteers ringing the bell are also ringing in the Christmas spirit across the country.  And the Salvation Army is expanding the traditional red kettle outside our favorite stores.  They have moved into the virtual world and even on your mobile.  Check it out when you have a chance and Teresa and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

0 IHAD Making a Difference Everywhere

As you know I’m a big supporter of the I Have A Dream Foundation here in Dallas. Teresa and I firmly believe these kids deserve nothing more than our full support and devotion. But Dallas is just one of many chapters of the foundation spread across the country that’s helping kids succeed at life buy giving them a chance to succeed early on. Recently the Colorado chapter earned some recognition for the work they are doing out there. It’s a great story of mentors helping families in need and trust me there are stories like his all over the United States. I’ve been fortunate enough to see some first hand.
